Determine your size

Okay, time to find the perfect match! Whether you already have a favorite frame or a beautiful piece of art that deserves a unique frame, we'll help you get started:

Already have a frame? Then measure the size of the glass in your frame. This is the outer dimensions of your mat. We offer our mats in four common frame sizes: 21x30 cm, 32x32 cm, 30x40 cm, 40x50 cm, and 50x70 cm.
Do you already have a photo or artwork? Then measure the dimensions of your photo or artwork. This size should always be slightly larger than the cutout of the mat, so your artwork fits nicely behind the opening. Questions? Feel free to contact us at hello@ateliertoon.com

Choose your unique shape and color

Now comes the fun part! Dive into our collection and choose the organic, asymmetrical shape that perfectly suits your style. From playful and abstract to subtly undulating, the possibilities are endless! And with our rainbow of colors, you're guaranteed to find one that makes your artwork or photo pop. Place your passepartout and photo

Your mat has arrived, time to get started! Place the mat face down on a clean, soft surface. Center your photo or artwork behind the mat's opening. Secure the photo to the back of the mat in two or three places with a bit of acid-free tape (this prevents damage to your artwork!).

Frame it and show it off!

Carefully place your mount with your photo inside the frame. Close the frame securely, and voilà! Your precious memory is now a unique work of art! Perfectly framed and ready to be enjoyed every day. We're so excited to see the result! Will you share your creation with us on social media?
