Made to fit your scan
The 7.5x10.5 cm cut-out is made for a standard 8x11 cm ultrasound photo. The edge of the scan sits just beneath the passe-partout all round, so it stays flat and straight. Every passe-partout is cut to order, with a crisp 45-degree bevelled edge, from acid-free board 1.7 mm thick. Choose A4 / 21x29.7 cm or 30x40 cm, and from various colors: soft and calm, or bold.

How to keep your scan beautiful
Ultrasound scans are almost always printed on thermal paper, the same kind of paper as a till receipt. It fades over time from heat, light and air, even behind UV-protective glass. Want to still enjoy it twenty years from now? Make a scan or a sharp photo of your ultrasound, have it printed on photo paper and frame that print. Keep the original dark, cool and dry, for example in an acid-free box. That way your scan hangs on the wall and the original stays safe.

Frequently asked questions
What size is an ultrasound photo?
Usually about 8x11 cm. The paper is almost always 11 cm wide, and the length can vary slightly per machine. So measure your scan before you order.
Does an ultrasound photo fade behind glass?
Yes. Thermal paper keeps reacting to heat and ordinary daylight, so UV-protective glass and acid-free board cannot stop it completely. It is best to frame a print and keep the original in the dark.
Does the passe-partout fit a regular frame?
Yes. It has a standard frame size (A4 / 21x29.7 cm or 30x40 cm), so it fits any frame of that size, as well as our handmade interchangeable frames.
Why acid-free board?
Regular board can discolour over time and damage the photo resting against it. Acid-free board doesn't, which is exactly what you want for a memory like this.
